Ben Gosling

IT Techie

Fast feet, sharp opinions, questionable spelling.

Ben’s the one we never let forget he got an A in English.

If something needs doing at pace, Ben’s already halfway there. He brings the energy of a Saturday league winger into the working week, juggling training sessions, match days, and a calendar that suggests sleep is optional. Five nights a week training, Saturday football, and still turning up switched on. Commitment is his baseline, not a flex.

That same energy shows up in his work. Ben is the team’s resident ticket cruncher, known for response times that border on suspiciously fast. Deadlines don’t creep up on him, they get chased down early, whether it’s onboarding new starters or keeping projects moving. Clients notice too. He’s a customer favourite, the person people trust to get things sorted without fuss.

Football isn’t a hobby, it’s a condition. A long-time Barnsley FC season ticket holder, home and away, Ben has mastered the skill of remaining emotionally invested while fully expecting disappointment. Character building. Or trauma. Possibly both.

Away from muddy pitches and freezing terraces, Ben has a talent for living at the opposite end of the spectrum. One minute it’s non-league football and battered boots, the next it’s Thailand, Japan, Dubai, or the Seychelles, chasing sun, culture, and the kind of meals that come with tasting menus and no prices on them.

At home, he’s a proud cat dad, proving that beneath the football obsession and passport stamps is a man who will absolutely stop mid-sentence to show you a photo of his cat.

Ben brings intensity, loyalty, and momentum to everything he does. He’ll chase the ball, chase the detail, and chase the experience, even if the spellcheck doesn’t always survive the journey. And yes, we will keep mentioning that English GCSE. Forever.
