All of the updates to the Microsoft 365 services can be found in your admin centre, but here is a summary of the important changes from the last week.
Power Platform Admin Center
A little reminder, that if you are still using the Dynamics 365 Admin Center, the Power Automate Admin Center, or the Power Apps Admin Center, these are being deprecated on June 30th 2020, and being replaced with the Power Platform Admin Center.
This is a unified admin portal for managing the entire Power Platform suite.
SharePoint spaces 360° tour
This is a new web part that will allow you to select multiple 360° images, link them and annotate them.
Rolling out throughout July, this feature will allow you to document and share information about physical spaces, allowing users to virtually experience the space.
Sticky Column in SharePoint Lists
In quick edit mode, the left column will remain in place – much like “freeze panes” in Excel.
Add shortcuts in OneDrive
Users will soon be able to add shortcuts to their shared folders in OneDrive and SharePoint shared libraries, and access those shortcuts from their OneDrive.
After they add a shortcut, it will appear in their OneDrive as a folder with a link icon.
100 GB File Size Limit
Microsoft have increased the maximum file size from 15GB to 100GB for a single file. This applies to OneDrive for Business and SharePoint Online.
For full details of these updates, and more, head to the Microsoft Message Center. Log in to your admin portal, and select Health, Message Center.
