Always Networks has signed the Armed Forces Covenant, demonstrating it’s commitment to treat fairly those who serve, or have served in the military, and their families.
The Armed Forces Covenant is the nation’s commitment to those who proudly protect our nation, who do so with honour, courage, and commitment.
It is a pledge that together as a nation we acknowledge and understand that those who serve or who have served in the armed forces, and their families, should be treated with fairness and respect in the communities, economy and society they serve with their lives.
By becoming a signatory, Always Networks pledges to various commitments, including promoting the skills and experience that veterans and reserves provide to civilian employers, supporting their employment, and offering flexibility in requirements relating to Service, such as leave for reserves and offering flexibility for Service spouses around their partner’s deployment.
Nick Shaw, Technical Director of Always Networks, says:
“This is an important step for Always Networks, and we are very proud to sign this covenant. As a veteran myself I understand the challenges that Service leavers can face, both finding employment and adjusting to the huge changes in their lives, as well as the impact that the Service has on families. It is important to recognise the skills and experiences that every person can bring to our company, and to celebrate those in an inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive and fulfil their potential.”
